2023 in rewind

We were delighted to present our new product for dynamic tariffs at the beginning of the year. In close cooperation with Germany's largest energy discounter, eprimo, We have developed an extension to our billing platform. This makes the introduction and billing of dynamic electricity tariffs easier than ever. Find out more about this here.

In addition to introducing new products, we are always striving to further develop existing functionalities. In 2023, we introduced a new demo environment for energy communities, a “rate editing feature” for easy billing of different tariffs as well as kWh-independent fees and many other functions. Since the latest redesign, our product for dynamic tariffs has also shone in new splendor. Our energy experts will be happy to explain to you the benefits of the new functions. In 2023, we are looking forward to a successful partnership with the Carinthian energy supplier Kelag watched and made numerous new partnerships. More and more utilities and energy service providers rely on PowerQuartier for the rapid introduction of digital products related to renewable energies. At Exnaton, our mission is to contribute to a sustainable, decentralized energy future. For our efforts, in 2023, we have the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Awards received. We were also among the winners of Gewobag Innovation Challenge, were allowed on AWS Accelerator Participate and made it onto the list of “Energy Startups to Watch” by Sifted. These awards fill us with pride and motivate us along the way. Thank you very much for the recognition!

In October 2023, we have the first Exnaton Conference loaded. Together with experts from the energy industry and representatives from science, we embarked on a journey into the past, present and future of decentralized energy systems as part of the half-day online conference. As energy experts, we had the opportunity to share our expertise in various magazines and specialist media. Exnaton milestones were also publicly celebrated, reflecting the growing importance of our efforts and of renewable energy in general. In order to achieve widespread acceptance of the energy transition, access to transparent information is crucial. In 2023, we will have a White paper on dynamic electricity tariffs as well as to Renewable energy communities written and organized numerous informative webinars. With the resolution of the “Federal Act to Secure Power Supply Using Renewable Energies”, in short Energy jacket decree Last September, the Swiss Parliament created the legal basis for neighborhood electricity trading in local electricity communities. As a Swiss company, we are pleased to soon be supporting energy providers in our home country with our technology and expertise in implementing LEGs.

In recent months, we have welcomed a variety of new faces to Exnaton who, thanks to their different backgrounds, skills and perspectives, complement our team perfectly. To celebrate our successes, develop new ideas and strengthen our team spirit, this year in Cumpadials (CH), we have decided to celebrate our annual Team Retreat hit.
